#285 - Parry Sound Bound

This will be another quick post.

My supervisor worked a half day and then left for a week’s vacation leaving me in charge of the crew. That gave me some extra work to do today, but nothing too crazy. The real nightmare will start on Monday. Luckily, we have a great team and I have the support of my counterpart if things get too much.

We finished work and then took a short nap. Robyn left to do her extra work while I loaded up the car with a cooler and our bags.

We headed straight from her job and got on the highway heading north.  Our destination was Parry Sound and after a short stop in King City for some food, we arrived at the family cottage by 11pm. We sat and chatted with my sister and brother-in-law until almost 2am before calling it quits.

John served me a local whisky that was infused with peanut butter and actually tasted good. Might have to grab a bottle before we head home.

Our niece and nephew are likely to wake us up early in the morning, so I am all for getting to bed.
