A belated birthday dinner

Had another lazy day today catching up on a few shows I watch by myself. Today it was the final episode of 'Down Cemetery Road' based off of Mick Herron's novel of the same name.

I loved his Slow Horses, but maybe just liked Cemetery Road. It definitely grows on you as the series continues. One of the main differences it the team dynamics. In Slow Horses, there is a definite team structure, while CR the team is basically just two characters, with the occasional person joining and leaving.

The team structure and characters in SH's is just more enjoyable.

We are off to Red Lobster tonight for a belated birthday dinner for the recently returned kiddo. Red Lobster is a bit of tradition. The kids love to have their birthday meals there.

And I won't fight it too much either. (grin)
