A Day of Rest

Today was a bit of a rest day. I did manage to start assembling some of my short stories into a larger collection and did the initial InDesign work, setting up the pages and collection artwork.

The day started off with a nice breakfast of avocado toast and a fruit bowl as Stacked. We joined to other couples for the meal and had a chance to catch up and swap stories.

In the evening we watched the Netflix movie, 'House of Dynamite' which was very successful at building tension and ramping things up. But for me the ending was unsatisfactory and too open ended. I don't like any stories that end without an understood conclusion. Still it is worth a watch.
