A Night Out with the Lads

I drove to Niagara this afternoon and stopped by to have a cuppa tea with my parents. I drove around and looked at the old neighborhoods, surprised by some of the developments and more surprised by some of the closed business and less impressive neighborhoods. At least from my memory they are less impressive.

But the reason for the travel was to have our annual dinner with guys I made life long friends while working at the Inns in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Everyone was doing well and it wasn't long before we were all enjoying steaks, wine and beer. It's always great to catch up and see these guys. I wish we could do it more often, but schedules being what they are....
