An Early Morning at Chudleigh’s Apple Farm
Share
We were up early to join my brother and sister-in law at Chudleigh’s Apple Farm.
The morning was chilly and rainy, but the clouds parted and the sun came out just as we arrived at the farm.
The main draw, other than picking apples off the trees, were the chance to see our young niece and nephew. Still at a young enough age to find the world full of wonders around every corner.
They seemed to really enjoy the wooden fort surrounded by a hail bail maze and the petting zoo filled with all sorts of friendly animals.
We picked some delicious Ambrosia apples straight from the orchards. The also had some wonderfully warm apple blossoms which paired very well with a hot coffee in the cool afternoon air.
and after all the fresh air and chasing after the young ones, back home to take a long, ever so deserved nap.
Not a bad day all in all.
And strangely a photo with pumpkins and not apples, but hey, they had pumpkins too!
