An easy day

Took the day off today.

I was feeling a bit drained and didn't even go out for my lunch time walk.

In the evening we watched some tv, the last few episodes of Absentia, while we waited for the kiddo to arrive home. 

The last episode or two of Absentia contained painfully obvious plot points. If the showed you a rock, you knew someone was going to use it to save the day. This went on and on. Otherwise, it was an okay show. A bit dark sometimes to really get excited about at the end of a day of work on a cold dark December. 

But there are much worse show out there.

Dinner with the kiddo meant it was the first time we were all around the kitchen table eating in many months and that was great to see.
