An Easy Sunday with Friends and Cake

Last night’s gathering with her friends went over quite well. We all enjoyed spaghetti with meatballs and sausages paired with garlic bread and cheese.

We had a nice little chocolate cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday served with tea and coffee which was a nice way to end the night.

I spent the rest of the evening writing the last few thousand words for the 2026 challenge. I also finished my writing assignment for my mentor by checking it for spelling errors and readability. Hopefully she likes it and I accomplished the ask.

Today was Sunday, so it was a rest day for me. Writing this blog will probably be the only writing I do today. I plan to break up my day tomorrow with six half-hour writing sprints. I hope to write 500 words per Sprint. This should give me a total of 3000 words of story writing +3 to 500 words of blog writing.

Hoping to catch up on some reading tomorrow as well as I have been getting behind on that. I may also be taking course starting Tuesday about sales copy and cover art.

But since my bed is calling, this is much as all write on this blog.
