Back to the Basics

Today is all about getting back on track after all the holiday events, illness and chocolate comas. I created a spreadsheet to track the 2026 per day in 2026 word count challenge that lets me see how I am doing on a weekly and monthly basis.
I took a lunch time walk with Robyn, something we typically do daily, but for some reason was interrupted over the holidays. Normally I feel pretty awful up until about the halfway point, but today I felt really good. My body was ready for some motion.
I've stopped drinking as much Dr. Pepper Zero in favour of Ginger tea, Green Tea good ole regular black tea. I have months worth of AG1 sitting in my cupboards as well that I am having a glass of each morning as well. It does feel better when I am not eating as healthy as I should be to have the supplement. I find that as we start to eat more vegetables and fruit in our diet that the effects lessen dramatically.
But it is a good boost for now.
I am looking forward to going back to our usual eating habits. Tonight we are having some baked salmon and roasted veg for dinner. My body is definitely craving vegetables. My mind is still a little muddled from the holiday food and beverages.
