Challenging Yourself and the Status Quo
Share
My writing mentor is turning 75 years old this year. To commemorate his 75th year his planning to write 75 major works and publish them. All in the same year.
I can hear some of you thinking 'That's Impossible, Brian!'. I should tell you he did something similar when he turned 70. Put out 70 major works.
So why does he do this? One: to show other writers what is possible and to myth-bust some of the accepting thinking about creativity, writing and publishing. Two: and I think this is probably the reason he'll succeed, is that its something fun and interesting to try.
You can check out his post about it over on his blog. It's a testament to how challenging the status quo can lead to some massive growth and achievements.
