Getting Around Restrictions

Last week we took a vacation to Varadero, Cuba. One thing I wasn't prepared for was an apparent ban of Shopify from Cuba or perhaps it was the other way round. 

Either way I wasn't able to post a blog and on that first night I was worried that my month long streak had already come to an end.

After trying a few workarounds, (I didn't want to install a VPN), I pulled out a yellow pocket notebook I had brought and my trust Parker Jotter.

I decided I could still keep the streak going, as the method wasn't what was important. It was the showing up everyday to do the thing.

So I wrote a blog in my notebook everyday. One of the ley differences was I filled the book at multiple times throughout the day. Sometimes while longing on the beach and other times drinking a mojito or a lovely cappuccino at the Martini Bar.

We stayed at the Royalton Hicacos in Varadero, Cuba. The staff were all wonderful, the food was good and the beach was beautiful.

I'll post the pages later this week as I have a lot of catch up do now that we are home.

I got some exciting news today, but I'll share it tomorrow when its finalized.
