Making a Different Malt Loaf

I tried a new recipe today. It turned out great, more cake-like than bread-like. This recipe has loads of raisins in it. Traditionally, it would have a mix of raisins and dates, but raisin was all I had, so double raisins.
I brought a couple of slices to our friends house to eat while watched Survivor and took a hot tub break halfway through. I watched as my friend John tentatively took a slice and starting biting at it like a mouse eating cheese.
Turns out he hates raisins. And here I had doubled the raisins.
With a little peer pressure he got it all down, raisins and all. He was a good sport and we all had a good laugh and a great night.
