Spicing Things Up...

I took a trip to the Peach Coffee Co. in Burlington today to do a writing session. I felt I needed to change up my environment a little to help the creative spark.

It took me a while to find a place that had an aesthetic vibe. I find most coffee places around my area aren't inviting and warm. The general vibe is order and get out. 

But I hope to explore my neighbourhood a little more and hopefully one day find that special place. Or maybe even two or three.

The Peach Coffee Co. is bright and airy-feeling. Lo-fi music plays in the background at a pleasant volume.

The bros with their MacBooks were notably absent from this cafe. You know the type. They populate every Starbucks like it's their natural habitat.

I certainly may return to this spot for another environmental kick in the pants.

I got about 1000 words written in the time I was there as well as this blog post.
