Taking a Moment to Enjoy it all

I received my copy of Tales From the Woods: Volume One today.

And although I have put each of these stories up on their own to purchase, having them in this thicker volume all together somehow feels like an actual achievement.

Like if I was climbing up an ancient stone staircase and taken the first step. Everything else before that felt like preparation for the journey and not the journey itself.

But here I am, completing that first step and a very long journey. I won't look to far ahead, because the numbers of stairs left and their height would just deter me.

I am going to stop on this step and take it in for a moment. Enjoy the fact the journey finally feels like its happening.
