The Zella Problem

I finished the cover for a new short story today called "The Zella Problem."  

A sci-fi tale about humanity's struggles with the local alien flora fauna on the Planet Eloi.

This was a fun little story to write and I had a good time with it. I was inspired by a concept called the Cobra Effect. Sources are unclear about whether the story is real or urban legend, but something about rings a truth. It's a very human way of dealing colonizers and venomous life forms.

It may not be a true story, but deep down inside I hope it is.
